Afro Cuban Salsa Terms & Conditions

By booking any of our courses, workshops, events, or private lessons (online or in person), you agree to the following terms and conditions. We’ve written them in clear, friendly language so you know exactly what to expect — no surprises, just great dancing!

Courses

Spaces in our courses are limited and are given on a first come, first served basis.
All spaces must be booked in advance, and your place is only confirmed once payment is complete.
Courses can fill up quickly! If a course is full, you can join our waiting list (for either leaders or followers).
We do our best to keep a balance between leaders and followers, but sometimes the numbers may not be perfectly even.
Course fees are non-refundable, unless Afro Cuban Salsa cancels the course.
Course fees cannot be transferred to another person, course, or event.
If you miss a class, we can’t offer discounts or refunds.
If Afro Cuban Salsa cancels a class or course, we’ll issue a full refund.
We reserve the right to refuse admission if necessary.
Please do not promote or advertise other dance schools during our classes or events. Handing out flyers, recruiting students, or using our community for promotion may lead to suspension from Afro Cuban Salsa.
Video recording is not allowed unless you have permission from Afro Cuban Salsa.
Our classes involve physical movement — please make sure you’re fit to participate and dance safely. Afro Cuban Salsa cannot take responsibility for any injuries.
By joining, you voluntarily accept that Afro Cuban Salsa and its instructors aren’t liable for injuries or damages that may occur during the course.
For everyone’s safety, please follow any guidance given by your instructor.
We want to keep our dance community fun and safe! Any risky or inappropriate behavior (e.g., harassment, damage to property, use of illicit substances, or unauthorized teaching) will lead to immediate action. You’ll be responsible for any costs or damages caused by such behavior.

Workshops & Events

Spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Your place is confirmed only after payment is completed.
Walk-ins on the day are welcome only if space allows.
We aim for a good balance between leaders and followers, but it can’t always be guaranteed.
Workshop and event fees are non-refundable, unless Afro Cuban Salsa cancels.
Fees are non-transferable to other people or events.
If we cancel, you’ll receive a full refund.
We reserve the right to refuse admission.
Video recording is not allowed without permission.
Please make sure you are physically able to participate — Afro Cuban Salsa can’t be held responsible for injuries.
By joining, you agree not to hold Afro Cuban Salsa or its instructors liable for any injuries or damages.
For everyone’s wellbeing, please follow all instructor directions.
Any unsafe or inappropriate conduct (harassment, damage, substance use, or unauthorized teaching) will result in removal from the event, and you may be held responsible for any related costs or damages.

Private Lessons

Your private lesson is booked for the specific date and time agreed with Afro Cuban Salsa.
To cancel or reschedule, please email afrocubandancer@gmail.com at least 48 hours before your lesson to receive a refund.
Unfortunately, cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable and can’t be rescheduled.
Private lesson fees are non-transferable to another person or event.
If Afro Cuban Salsa cancels the lesson, you’ll receive a full refund.
Please make sure you’re physically fit for dance — Afro Cuban Salsa is not responsible for injuries that may occur.
By taking part, you agree not to hold Afro Cuban Salsa or its instructors liable for injuries or damages.
Please follow all instructions from your teacher to ensure safety.
Any inappropriate, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior (harassment, damage, substance use, etc.) will lead to the class being canceled without refund. You’ll also be responsible for any damages or costs caused.
